A failed capacitor or seized bearing, loose belt, dry seal ring, incorrect VFD parameters, and loose bolts can all cause abnormal equipment operation. To address these, first disconnect power and turn the pulley by hand – if it is stuck, check the capacitor; adjust belt deflection to 10‑15 mm; grease the seal ring; reset the VFD to factory defaults; and finally, tighten the rear bearing mounting bolts.

Fix combustion issues from probe oxidation, regulator lock‑up, gas change, excess air, or downdraft: sand probe, check dynamic pressure, gradually reduce gas, adjust air for stable flame, and add a T‑hood if needed.

Caramelised coffee debris, carbon buildup inside the sampling tube, a bent trier, weakened spring tension, and a burnt gasket can all cause sampling mechanism issues or seal failures. To address these, allow the equipment to cool, spray a small amount of water or cleaner into the sampling port, and gently tap while rotating the trier to remove it; use a wire brush to clean carbon from the tube interior and apply anti‑seize compound for smoother future operation; straighten the bent trier; replace the weak spring; and finally, replace the burnt gasket with a 2 mm silicone gasket for improved heat resistance and sealing.

For airflow/cooling issues from clogged filter, dusty fins, worn scraper, thick beans, or kinked hose: clean filter and fins, set scraper gap to 1‑2 mm, split thick beans into two batches, and straighten/reduce hose bends.
