From Fuyang, Hangzhou to the world stage – 18 years dedicated to coffee roasting.
In 2008, the very first HB roaster was delivered from a small workshop in Fuyang, Hangzhou. It was a humble beginning, yet it quietly marked the start of China’s journey into original coffee roasting equipment. At that time, the domestic coffee equipment market was nearly empty, with foreign brands dominating the industry. Instead of following the beaten path, we chose to start from scratch—selecting each screw, cutting each steel plate, and designing our own burner system—step by step, building a roaster that truly belonged to China.
Over the past eighteen years, we have grown from early manual machines to AI‑driven fully automatic systems, and from China’s first self‑developed prototype to the PEAK‑P1 and P8 being officially selected as the competition roasters for the China Coffee Roasting Championship. We have made the leap from “import substitution” to “independent innovation.” Our physical footprint has expanded in tandem—from that first workshop in Fuyang to our 8,000 m² “HB SPACE 2.0” modern manufacturing ecosystem in Ningbo, where we now control the entire chain of R&D, production, testing, and training. This is not just an infrastructure upgrade; it is the establishment of a complete industrial system for coffee roasting, built on a solid foundation of steady, deliberate progress.
Today, HB COFFEE ROASTER is guided by the core principles of stability, precision, efficiency, and professionalism, delivering integrated intelligent roasting solutions—from the HB series for premium commercial use to the PEAK series for fully automatic industrial production—to roasters, specialty coffee studios, chain brands, and large‑scale roasting facilities worldwide. Our products are now exported to more than 30 countries and have been chosen as the official roaster for multiple national coffee roasting championships. But we are more than just equipment manufacturers—we are a collaborative platform that bridges the terroir and flavour of coffee with intelligent industrial technology. We ensure that every degree of heat is precisely delivered, every roast curve can be faithfully replicated, and professional roasting becomes accessible to more coffee professionals, as we bring Chinese coffee equipment confidently onto the world stage.
