In May, driven by a continuous passion for coffee and technological innovation, Aikubao HB brought its first overseas stop of the PEAK Trek Sharing Event to Bangkok.

HB’s founder personally attended the event, engaging in in-depth discussions with Thai coffee roasters and exploring the true value of fully automatic roasting technology:

On one hand, it frees up roasters’ time — reducing repetitive manual work and constant parameter adjustments, allowing roasters to focus more on green bean selection, roast profile exploration, and cupping.

On the other hand, it enables consistent flavor reproduction, making exceptional coffee profiles easier to replicate.

During the three-hour deep exchange, HB presented its answer through the PEAK-P1.

A special interactive session was arranged at the event:

The same coffee bean was roasted using two different approaches:

• Manual roasting
• Roast profile replication with automation

Afterward, participants conducted a blind tasting and were invited to guess which cup was manually roasted and which was produced through automated roasting.

The result:

Most participants found it difficult to tell the difference.

This demonstrated HB’s core belief:

Precision automation is not a replacement for the roaster — it is the foundation for consistent flavor reproduction and a powerful support system that allows roasters to focus on origin research, flavor innovation, and coffee craftsmanship.
